Liquid metals and imagination

Hello, folks! After a holiday and an amazing event by our student branch, we will be resuming our activities this coming Thursday!


We will start with a text called "Thermoelectric Effect Seen in Liquids for the First Time", by KATHERINE BOURZAC.



This is about the thermoelectric properties of liquid metals, a field not often studied! It should be a shorter read than our usual texts, as the song this time is longer. The vocabulary shouldn't have too many new words, other than some specific scientific terms.


For our song, we will again listen to a musical, as agreed last meeting. This time we will be listening to "Believe" from "FINDING NEVERLAND".



The song doesn't have a complex vocabulary, yet it certainly has an expansive one. Once it's about imagination, some phrases might not feel like they fit- So let your creativity fly and listen to it a couple of times before reading the lyrics which can be found in the following link:
