Good afternoon, folks!

This week, we will be studying a famous poem by Edgar Allan Poe, perhaps the most famous of his period: The Raven. It is a poem about a conflicted man, looking desperately for the woman he lost, who is visited by a quasi-mythological bird who tells him the truth he wishes not to hear. I recommend you read the poem out loud if you can- it is almost a song by itself.

It is not an easy read, so I beg you to take some time to properly read and digest it. I can assure you that There are going to be multiple words you don't already know. This is not an easy poem where vocabulary touches, but it should be simple enough to understand the story being told.

Moreover, we will be listening to a song chosen by one of our participants last week! I urge this person to message me as soon as possible.

We should be meeting at 18h, finally, in the same blue room as last week. I have confirmation from the university that we can finally meet at our scheduled time, finally. Horray!
