Hello folks!
During our last meeting, we agreed to try an easy song and a simple article.
Our song is about what happens after Odysseus leaves the Cyclops behind and heads towards the open sea. He is gifted safe passage by the god of wind, who closes the sea storms inside a bag. Unfortunately, the bag is opened and the storm is free to ravage their fleet. They do manage to close the tail end of the storm inside the bag, and that's what ends up saving them in the end. We will be focusing on who the characters are, what are their motivations, and what happens during the song.
Our article shouldn't be too hard of a read, but it is a lot more complicated than what we used to do. It is an article about using a certain data acquisition method to control another method. I will ask you to read the Abstract and the Introduction, no need to read the rest as our discussion will focus on just the two. I will be asking you, however, to look up what FES and sEMG are and how they work! Please make yourself comfortable enough with it to explain to someone who has never heard about it before.
We will be meeting at 18:30 in yet another location (thanks to the establishment refusing to behave). Our next meeting will happen inside the projects room of CETEPE, the building right in front of the engineering library, on top of the aquarium. I will send a guide with pictures of how to get there from the library's doors.
