Shoeboxes and Stars

Hello, folks! I have finally selected our weekly read, considering what we discussed last week: "HOW TO PUT A DATA CENTER IN A SHOEBOX", by Anna Herr.
This week, we'll be diving into the world of supercomputers and superconductors. The author uses an interesting tone to discuss Moore's Law and the future of computers, especially now that so much computing power is being used for Large Language Models, AI. The article is rather recent, and should be a simple read about a subject we are all at least a bit more familiar than astrophotography or extraterrestrial solar-power generation. It shouldn't be a longer read than last weeks'! I've also selected our song: "WE'RE ALL MADE OF STARS", from the Broadway musical "Finding Neverland".
Its upper-british accents done by children should be a bit of a challenge! The vocabulary is considerably tamer than last song's, but it should make up for it in the listening challenge, as well as having three different singers with three slightly different inflections and degrees of vocal clarity. It should also be a quick song! Please avoid looking for lyrics before you listen to it a couple of times! In fact, avoid looking for lyrics altogether: Google has taught me there's a similar song that is far more popular. I took the liberty to transcribe the lyrics that I'll be sending as a document right after this message, with some markings on parts I found interesting.
I hope to see everyone this Thursday!
